Please take good care of your shoes! Here are some tips to keep them looking great.

Clean, Condition and protect your leather shoes.
Remove dirt with a brush first if there is a lot, then wipe with damp, not wet, cloth. Use a little soap mixed with water on the cloth for extra dirty shoes. Let dry. Apply a conditioning shoe cream (with or without color) with a soft brush, cloth or sponge, preferably before you wear your shoes for the first time. This will help protect against water and dirt and conditions the leather, and in the long run keeps it soft and prevents cracking. (Please note: be aware of shoe ‘polish’ that does not contain the fats and waxes needed to condition and protect the leather. Use cream-based polish). Check out this video clip on how to polish your leather shoes.

Protect your nubuck leather or suede shoes.
Apply a spray protectant before you wear your shoes for the first time. These sprays protect against dirt and water and can also be used on textile shoes as well. Spray your shoes a couple of times in the beginning and then every couple of months if worn often. Clean your shoes thoroughly with a brush for suede. These special brushes also have a type of rubber or eraser on them. Take a look at this video clip on how to care for your suede shoes for details.
